14/05/2010 - AAAA FEATURES AT AMPA
Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association Membership Development Manager, Southern Region, Paul Raike, introduced the Australian market to around 80 interested participants in a seminar during the recent AMPA and Autotronics trade shows in Taipei. Mr Raike explained the Australian aftermarket industry and outlined opportunities in the Australian market for international companies. He encouraged the audience to explore opportunities in Australia and then gave them an insight into the Australian business culture. Mr Raike also took the opportunity invite all attendees to the 2011 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo. The interest from the participants was incredible as they queued up for an individual meeting with Mr Raike immediately following the seminar. He spent at least an hour answering questions and many more hours attending to follow-up emails in the following days. "I was overwhelmed by the response," Mr Raike said. "I was surprised, but pleased at the same time. It is testament to TAITRA in the way that they promoted the seminar. "The follow up has been good as well. I have been responding to many emails so it all bodes well for the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo."
