12/05/2008 - EXPO SHAPING UP TO BE BIGGEST YET
With over 98 percent of the available space now allocated, the 2009 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo promises to be the most comprehensive automotive parts and accessories, tools and equipment trade event ever held in Australia. The Expo, to be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour from April 2-4, 2009 will include all the major players in the Australian aftermarket showcasing their latest products and technology. It will again be held in conjunction with the Collision Repair Expo 2009, featuring a dedicated display of up to 80 of the market leading companies in this key sector. The combined events will feature more than 400 exhibitors over 18,000sqm of floor space and will be a showcase of Australian automotive excellence. A comprehensive visitor marketing program consisting of trade publication and radio advertising, public relations support, telemarketing, direct mail and email reminders will commence in September 2008 with the target of attracting over 10,000 trade visitors during the three days. Dedicated campaigns focusing on attracting workshop owners from regional NSW, interstate and New Zealand, combined with a range of competitions and industry seminars and activities taking place in and around the show will compliment the trade exhibition. The Expo will once again provide the opportunity to showcase AAAA member companies to the wider industry by participation in the AAAA Awards to Industry Program and via a range of sponsorship opportunities. AAAA will also have access to a range of meeting rooms at the Sydney Exhibition Centre during the Expo so exhibitors should consider running an event concurrently.
